Roman Numeral Patterned Saltwater Pearls with Dzi Bead
Necklace
This necklace features 16 Roman numeral patterned natural saltwater pearls strung together. The pearls are 20mm in diameter and 22mm diameter ivory pearls on each side for protection against evil. A Tibetan nine-eyed Dzi bead in the centre, flanked by two three-eyed Tibetan Dzi beads. The necklace is 45cm long, with a 10K white gold plated silver belt buckle set with lab-grown diamonds.
The design symbolises the blessing of the Bodhisattva for peace, health, longevity, and good fortune for both men and women wearing dzi beads. The numeral patterned pearls represent wealth, and are especially auspicious for men lacking the water element in their Five Elements theory.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
To care for and maintain pearls, always treat them gently, as their surface is delicate and easily damaged. Put pearls on after applying cosmetics, perfume, hairspray, or lotion, since chemicals can dull their luster. After each wear, wipe them with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oils and sweat that may weaken the nacre. When cleaning, use only mild soap and lukewarm water, and never soak a pearl necklace because the silk thread can stretch or weaken; avoid ultrasonic cleaners, steamers, and anything abrasive.
Store pearls separately in a soft pouch or fabric-lined box to prevent scratches, and avoid airtight containers or excessive heat, which can dry out and damage the pearls. Wear your pearls regularly—natural moisture from the skin helps maintain their shine—but avoid exposing them to sweat, chlorine, saltwater, or household cleaners.
